The Pinehills is not just beautiful homes and landscapes—it’s the people who make it truly special.
There are so many memories of The Pinehills that come to mind, but here is one particular memory… Back in the early days of The Pinehills, we actually opened up a pop up seasonal garden shop in the Village Green called “The Potting Bench by Egan’s.” It was in the building where the current Blueberry Muffin is located. We sold hanging plants, annuals, perennials, and garden shop items inside the building. It was during that summer that we got to meet many of the wonderful residents of The Pinehills. My children were younger then (in elementary school), and they also occasionally helped working at that garden shop. My children are grown now, but it’s a great memory when I look back at them in pictures working there.
Honestly, my business wouldn’t be where it is today without The Pinehills. Working with them has been such a great experience for so many reasons. Everyone there…from the leadership to every employee, has always been amazing to work with. It’s never felt like we were “just contractors.” They’ve always made us feel like part of their team, and that means a lot.
I’m not sure Tony Green and his team (including John Judge, now retired) even realize the impact they’ve had. What they’ve built isn’t just about houses or construction—it’s about people. They’ve created something that’s helped businesses like mine grow and supported families, including my own and my employees’.
They’ve built a community that truly makes a difference, and I’m grateful to be a part of it.
It’s not just beautiful homes and landscapes, it’s the people that make The Pinehills truly special.
Thank you so much Leslie for including us and allowing us to share our story. I’ve also included a couple of pictures of the Potting Bench and one with my daughter Kaylee helping out there when she was younger. She is 21 years old now. Time has flown by. – George Egan, Egan Landscape Group
