Book Love Poetry Reading
Join us for an evening of poetry by two local poets, Kathleen Latham and Sara Letourneau. Each poet will read from her latest book for around 20 minutes followed by Q/A and book signing. Come be inspired!
About Kathleen
KATHLEEN LATHAM is a poet and short story writer from Westwood, MA whose work has appeared in multiple journals and anthologies. A Highly Commended winner of Britain’s prestigious Bridport Prize, she’s also won the Web Micro-fiction Prize for Women Writers, the Writer’s Digest Short Short Story Competition, and a Bath Flash Fiction Award. Twice nominated for Best Small Fictions and a Best of the Net award, she’s been shortlisted for the Bevel Summers Prize, the Stockholm Writer's Festival First Pages Prize and for contests in such places as Fish Flash Fiction and Reflex Fiction. She holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from Occidental College in Los Angeles, where she grew up, and a master’s degree in human development from Harvard University. The Ones is her debut poetry collection (Kelsay Books, 2024).
About Sara
Sara Letourneau is the author of Wild Gardens (Kelsay Books, 2024). She’s also a book editor and writing coach at Heart of the Story Editorial & Coaching Services; the cofounder and cohost of the Pour Me a Poem open mic in Mansfield, Massachusetts; and the co-editor of the Pour Me a Poem anthology. Her poetry has won the 2023 Beals Prize for Poetry and the Blue Institute’s 2020 Words on Water contest. Her new and upcoming work can be found in Amethyst Review, The Arts Fuse, Gyroscope Review, Nixes Mate Review, Remington Review, Silver Birch Press, and Third Wednesday Magazine. Sara lives in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
