Join Book Love for a meaningful evening in solidarity with all those affected by breast cancer. Leslie Lawrence will share her work I’m a Lucky Woman - a personal journey as a cancer survivor conveyed through verse, prose, and photography.
Lawrence will be joined in conversation by Candy O’Terry, Boston’s beloved radio voice of Magic 106.7. The two together will share unforgettable stories that you won’t want to miss! The seated conversation will begin promptly at 6pm. Photo opportunities and book signing to follow.
In addition to the seated conversation, we will be joined by Poppies for Purpose, a local shoe company created by breast cancer “thriver” Lisa Carlin. Poppies with Purpose convey bravery and solidarity, with 10% of proceeds going to female cancer researchers.
