Plus: What's New & What's Next in Food News Behind the Pines.
This is the power of gathering: it inspires us, delightfully, to be more hopeful, more joyful, more thoughtful: in a word, more alive. - Alice Waters
When we gather around a table laid out with a delicious meal, conversation flows, stories are shared, memories are made, and we get to the heart of each other. That’s how a community comes to be – human connections.
Artful local flavor and opportunities to break bread are everywhere in The Pinehills. Farm-fresh food at The Market, locally grown, in-season ingredients at restaurants, and artisanal creations by regional purveyors are at the heart of our Pinehills community. Here's what's new and what's next on The Pinehills food scene:
Coming Soon!
Scheduled for completion late summer, Rowen at The Pinehills overlooks the Village Green and will be home to your next favorite restaurant – or maybe your next restaurant?
This prime restaurant/retail space is currently available to lease. Find details here!
Rye Tavern
The historic tavern has for centuries been a destination for Plymouth’s residents to kick back with food and drink. The outdoor bar is now open for the season. With excellent heaters, it's a New England outdoor dining experience even the not-so-hearty souls among us can enjoy. A new lunch menu debuted this week and count on Chef Stephen Bither to always have special offerings using local, seasonal ingredients — some grown in the Tavern’s own garden.
Looking for the perfect gift for Mom? A Rye Tavern gift certificate is always a perfect fit. Better yet, make your reservations now for a Mother's Day meal. And watch for more information about the Farmers Market at Rye Tavern returning in June.

Mamma Mia’s
Now in its 9th year, Mamma Mia’s Pinehills serves old world Italian food and does a hopping take-out pizza business! Patio season is here, and the location across the street from the Village Green makes it a great place to watch the world go by. The Blueberry Muffin
Owned and operated by the Brown family, you'll never leave hungry thanks to their generously portioned, award-winning breakfasts and lunches. We love the tasty variety of fresh-made pastries, muffins, and doughnuts. Let's just say that a signature blueberry muffin on the patio with an ice coffee is grand way to start a summer day!
The Market
The Market is full of local products to love, along with new local produce. Don't miss Mike's hand-made sushi, and freshly prepared ideas straight from The Market’s creative chefs. The website is also feeling fresh, making it easy to stay on top of what's new and what's on sale - including recipes to turn items from the weekly sales flier into a delicious meal plan!
Gardeners delight, the patio tent is up and beginning to fill with local plants to beautify your outdoor spaces for the season.
