From “Home of the Year” and “Best Home in the Northeast” by The Green Company to “Best Green Built Home” by MacKenzie Brothers
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has awarded The Pinehills twelve awards recognizing the community and its builders for outstanding home design and marketing as well as green building and landscaping. On January 12,2011 at the Best of American Living Awards (BALA) sponsored by NAHB, The Pinehills and its builders, including The Green Company, MacKenzie Brothers and Whitman Homes, were given national recognition for the following:
Platinum Award – Home of the Year for Fresco at The Pinehills built by The Green Company.
Platinum Award – Single Family Attached Home, Best in North Atlantic Region for Fresco at The Pinehills built by The Green Company
Gold Award – Best Green Built Home for the Beechwood with Tower at the Summerhouse Cottages built by MacKenzie Brothers (this was the 2010 HGTV Green Home)
Gold Award – Best Single Family Home for the Beechwood with Tower at the Summerhouse Cottages built by MacKenzie Brothers (this was the 2010 HGTV Green Home)
Gold Award – Best Rural/Exurban Smart Growth Community for The Summerhouse Cottages built by MacKenzie Brothers and Whitman Homes
Gold Award – Best Interior Design: Specialty or Outdoor Room for Fresco at The Pinehills built by The Green Company
Gold Award – Best Single Family Attached Home for Fresco at The Pinehills built by The Green Company
The Best in American Living Awards spotlight the most creative and innovative builders, designers, developers, land planners in the nation. Each year, BALA winners define excellence within the building industry.
In addition, recently at “The Nationals,” awards sponsored by NAHB Sales & Marketing Council, The Green Company received the following awards for their work at The Pinehills:
Gold Award for Best Attached Home- Fresco at The Pinehills
Gold Award for Best Landscape Design
Silver Award for Best Interior Model Merchandising – Fresco at The Pinehills
Silver Award for Best Outdoor Living Space – Fresco at The Pinehills Courtyard
The highest honor of the program, the Legends Award for the 2011 Legend in Residential Marketing went to The Green Company, honoring Founder Alan Green, President Dan Green, CEO David Caligaris and Pinehills Managing Partner Tony Green.
