Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills has announced the appointment of Natalie M. Ward as General Manager. She will oversee the daily operations, marketing and public relations activities of the 50-room retreat, slated to open its doors in spring 2014. The new resort is located in The Pinehills, an established, award-winning, master-planned community in Plymouth, Mass. The Inn & Spa will begin accepting reservations in mid-November. In addition to the uniquely appointed Mirbeau-style guestrooms, the Inn will house the Henri-Marie fine dining restaurant, a casual bistro and wine bar, and the renowned Spa Mirbeau. This property joins the growing Mirbeau collection which includes the original Mirbeau Inn & Spa in Skaneateles, N.Y. Both properties are managed by Mirbeau Hospitality Services, LLC.
A long-time resident of the New England region, Ms. Ward has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining the Mirbeau Inn & Spa team, she held the position of General Manager at the Carnegie Abbey Club in Portsmouth, R.I. She previously served as General Manager of the Relais & Chateaux; Castle Hill Inn and Resort in Newport, R.I.; The Winnetu Inn & Resort and Mattakesett Properties in Edgartown, Mass.; and the Augustus Snow House in Harwichport, Mass. Ms. Ward also worked as a Managing Director at Hidden Pond in Kennebunkport, Maine; and Director of Property Operations, Conference Planning, and Food and Beverage at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club in Brewster, Mass.
