Picture a romantic French country manor house surrounding beautiful Monet-inspired gardens, textured fabrics and unique antique furniture. Come Spring 2014 you’ll be able to be part of this beautiful place - the brand new Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills.
Linda Dower, co-owner of The Mirbeau Companies, and Westly Spruill, principal of Deeson Design, have been busy creating the look of the new Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills which recreates the look of a romantic French country estate. In addition, Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills will feature a 15,000 square-foot Spa Mirbeau, the Henri-Marie restaurant and a Wine Bar and Bistro.
A wooden, covered bridge that spans the stream flowing from the garden pond to the waterfall will connect the Manor House to the private guest wing. Adjacent to The Manor House, is a separate stone building reminiscent of the estate’s “Chapel” which will be home to Henri-Marie, Mirbeau’s fine dining restaurant. Restaurant guests will enter through a distinctive separate entry with a flared roof and decorative, Art Nouveau-inspired wrought iron columns. Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills will have 5,000 square feet of function space including a 1,500-square-foot ballroom and a garden event area for larger social and business events. The Chapel will also provide an ideal space for more intimate gatherings and weddings.
Spa Mirbeau will boast 19 treatment rooms and offer a full range of services and treatments including massages, body wraps and body scrubs, facials, manicures, pedicures, and couples treatments. The spa will house a central resting area with a heated foot pool, and an outdoor aqua terrace, with a heated pool and bar area where spa guests can relax. Guests will also enjoy a fitness center, complete with dedicated yoga, movement and indoor cycling studios, state-of-the-art weight and cardio equipment, and locker rooms with eucalyptus-infused steam rooms. Mirbeau’s French-inspired design will be carried throughout the spa’s public areas and treatment rooms.
A number of rare antique items will furnish the interiors throughout the property. Notable pieces include an Aubusson Floral Country Scene Tapestry from the South of France, an impressive French painted buffet known as a “buffet de chasse” (a hunting buffet) circa 1780, and a Demi Lune Console, made in the early 20th Century, consisting of the original Tinos Green Marble from Greece.
