Owner Sara Hegarty, the buying and merchandizing talent behind Daisies, has curated a treasure-trove of a gift shop that’s a delight to explore! With time to get to know her buyers at The Pinehills, this spring offered a perfect opportunity to fine-tune what she offers in the shop.

Trend Watcher
Whether it’s a housewarming, baby or bridal shower, birthday, or wedding, Daisies has options galore. Gift-giving trends are constantly evolving and Sara has a knack for paying attention to what her customers are asking for and buying. Plus, time browsing trade shows, and many (many) gift shops throughout New England, gives her fresh inspiration to bring back to Daisies.

Surprise and Delight with Unique, Local Finds
Sara’s passion is finding new vendors offering unique items. She says New England’s many small, local vendors are a boon of interesting, well-crafted gifts. Stroll through Daisies and you’ll see items you might recognize from the many arts and farmers markets at The Pinehills.
Sara told us, “Just this past week, I attended a trade show and found the most wonderful French artist who offers hand-painted and glazed pottery, and table linens with Hydrangeas, who lives locally and only offers to small stores. I've placed an order and feel very honored to be the only store in Plymouth to carry her line."
Brick and Mortar Shopping, Where Community and Commerce Collide
We’re bombarded with online shopping offers every day, but Sara believes that customers enjoy the in-person experience of her store. They want inspiration, and they want to touch and feel items before purchasing. Sara and her team strive to create a shopping atmosphere that beats a “buy now” button by a mile. “We live in a wonderful community. Greeting customers, helping them make selections, and getting to know them is so important,” says Sara. That, along with a space that delights the senses and free gift wrapping!
