PLYMOUTH - A simple idea yielded delicious results for more than two dozen families this past Thanksgiving. An initiative from Pinehills residents Bob and Louise Kursmark to include their neighbors in a holiday drive to provide fully prepared Thanksgiving meals from Gerard Farm Manomet well exceeded their initial goal of 10-15 donors. “There are so many families that are really hurting,” the Kursmarks said in a statement. “We want them to know they are not forgotten and their community cares about them.” Gerard owners Frank and Jenine Sliver were quick to sign on to the effort, and Judy Froman and other staff members at The Pinehills Stonebridge Club took the lead in spreading the word about the dinner drive to its residents, who collectively donated over $3,000.
