Our History
In 1974, Pasquale “Pat” and Giovanni “John” Viscariello, brothers from Airola, Italy, opened their first restaurant in Kingston, Massachusetts. They named the restaurant “Mamma Mia’s” in honor of their Mother. Working beside them were their wives, Maria “Francesca” and Eugenia “Jenny”. Their children, Salvatore “Sam”, Antonio “Tony”, Gina, and John, grew up in the business, making pizza boxes by the hundreds until they were tall enough to reach the pizza counter. Forty years later, their Grandchildren are hand tossing pizza and learning the business.
Mamma Mia’s quickly became known as “The first name in family dining”. Inspired by integrity and traditional family values, the generations continue working together to serve the highest quality, authentic, Italian food. The mission to provide superior hospitality, reasonable prices, and old world Italian food with great pride and dedication is consistent between each of the restaurants. Other locations include Plymouth (Water Street), Kingston, Hanover, Carver, Marshfield and Carmela's in Kingston. Mamma Mia’s offers homemade pizza, pasta, and more!

What We Have to Offer
The cozy dining room is perfect for any occasion, whether you are taking the family out for lunch or dinner, catching up with friends, or celebrating an occasion. If you’re looking for a slightly different atmosphere, try the bar; separate from the dining room, with plasma screen TVs, Keno, and a lounge including high top tables.
Outdoor seating is available during the Spring, Summer, and early Fall months. Enjoy live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights on the patio.
The restaurant accepts reservations 24 hours in advance. Don’t want to eat out? Place a take out order at the Take-Out window or place your order over the phone.
